Denounce Todd Akin’s Anti-Women Remarks: Sign the Petition
In an interview, Tea Partier Todd Akin remarked that victims of “legitimate rape” wouldn’t get pregnant because “the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”
Akin’s statement is simply wrong. Sadly, this incident is just the latest in a long line of examples of the GOP’s heinous disregard for women’s rights. Enough! We have to stop GOP's extremist anti-women agenda.
